Our First Session
Our first session serves as a time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. It will be conversational and relaxed and gives us both the opportunity to determine whether it will be a good fit. It will give you a sense of what therapy will look like should you choose to move forward.
Please fill out the forms emailed to you prior to the first session. These need to be completed prior to meeting and will save us valuable time during your first session.
What to Expect
My desire is to create a safe space and establish a trusted rapport between us. The therapeutic relationship between a counselor and a client is a huge part of successful therapy, as the deepest healing occurs within relationship. At the end of the first session, I will ask you if you would like to continue. If you are looking for something different, I am happy to provide referrals to other local counselors.
